TRUST ADMINISTRATION

For family members, we assist with estate and trust administration after the death of a settlor of a trust, preparation of estate tax returns and assisting clients to work with their CPAs for appropriate tax compliance. In completing of trust administration, we assist with subtrust funding implementing the settlor’s trust, working with client’s CPA to insure the trusts are accounted for if requested appropriately. We work with family members, trustees and CPAs to coordinate funding of trusts in a timely fashion to achieve family goals, trust administration, and subtrust funding.

BUSINESS PLANNING & INCORPORATION

We can facilitate strategic business planning and formation of limited liability companies, limited partnerships and corporations for closely held and family business and start-up businesses.

BUSINESS LAW

We review contracts, help with business, formation of corporations, partnerships limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and explore the tax benefits of each. Assist clients with business taxation, consulting on tax audits and representations before the Internal Revenue Service in Tax Court, and negotiations thereof. Assist in transactions representing buyers and sellers of businesses and negotiations thereof.

TAX AND ESTATE PLANNING

We provide tax and estate planning for clients hoping to minimize burdens, transfer active businesses, family businesses and assets to family members with the least tax burden. We utilize a variety of trusts for specific situations to assist clients to achieve their objectives and avoid probate, including charitable giving and private foundations, if needed.

1. Organization of businesses and structuring of transactions, and assisting in elections whether to plan partnerships, limited liability companies, corporations, distinctions between subchapter C and subchapter S corporations;

3. Representations of clients regarding audits, appeals, tax court proceedings, establishing tax exempt organizations; preparation of profit sharing plans. Preparation of Estate tax returns and audits thereof.
